Lacquer Buddha statue is the primary figure of Buddhism. The word ‘Buddha’ means ‘one who is awake’. Buddha did not claim to be a god or a prophet. He was a human being who became Enlightened, understanding life in the deepest way possible. This is a beautiful statue of Lord Buddha sitting in a meditating pose, with its eyes closed.
