The product depicts an Advasi Family consisting of a man, a woman, and a child. Shown to be clad in their traditional attire, the man is shown to be carrying a plow and the woman carrying a basket on her head. The child is shown to be in support of his father and mother.
The Showpiece is made by the Dhokra Technique of lost-metal wax using brass.
Nowadays this art is mainly prevalent in Central and Eastern India mostly in the states of Orissa, Chattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, and West Bengal.
A non-ferrous metal, mostly- Brass is used for making the products. The technique used to make the products is called lost wax metal casting.
Nowadays Dhokra Art is used to making human and animal figurines, god idols, candle stands, diyas, pendants, bowls, door handles, and many other decorative products.
