The set of 2 adivasi working ladies are made by dhokra tribal artists. They use the lost metal wax casting technique to make the products. The one woman in the set is shown to be carrying two baskets, one in her hand and the other supported at her back. The other woman is also shown to be carrying a basket supported at her waist. The women are shown to be clad in their traditional attire and give an ethnic look to the showpiece. The brass work makes it very durable. Dhokra Art is being practiced in India since the time of Harappa and Mohenjodaro. Now-a-days this art is mainly prevalent in Central and Eastern India mostly in the states of Orissa, Chattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal. A non ferrous metal, mostly- Brass is used for making the products.
