This beautiful brass idol of Lord Ganesha has been crafted by the carvers and crafters of Moradabad. It is the city which is responsible for 40% of India’s brass export and is famous for its brass products. It is, hence, known as the Brass City of India. In this idol, Lord Ganesha can be seen sitting cross-legged on a gorgeous pedestal which has been carved and decorated with teal and red stones. He is clothed with teal and red stones. Ganesha is the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, and is an important entity in the Hindu Pantheon. He is worshipped for his intellect, wisdom, joy, etc. Considered to be the remover of obstacles, he is worshipped by his devotees before the start of a project for his blessings.
